Joshua Emison
Josh Emison (that's me!) has been in the franchising game for over 5 years, seeing all sides of the table. He has worked as a Director of Franchise Development (aka franchise sales) for three different franchises, learning all the ways franchises hide the truth from buyers. He owns three territories of a dance franchise that is such a great fit for his wife (who runs it day to day) that they are on track to win rookie of the year.
He has been a broker for over 3 years allowing him to see the lies and misleading statements that are common in the industry in pursuit of commissions. During this time he also taken business courses valued in the tens of thousands of dollars to learn what the best in the industry do when they want to buy a business.
Before getting into franchising, Josh was a Marine Corps Officer and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.
All these experiences have led to this course.
